Two-Week Head Start Puppy Training Program

8 to 10 Weeks of Age

Our Two-Week Head Start Program gives your Irish Jack Russell puppy a structured introduction to training and home life, helping them transition more smoothly into your family. This program is ideal for new owners who want a puppy that already understands the basics of behavior, boundaries, and routine.

Your puppy will remain in our home for an additional two weeks, where they will receive hands-on training, socialization, and care in a calm, family-style setting.

What the Program Includes

Your puppy comes home between 10 and 11 weeks of age with a strong foundation of early training and socialization in place.

The program includes two phone consultations
with our training team:

  • One before pickup to review what your puppy has learned.
  • One after your puppy is home to answer questions and help you reinforce training.

Puppies are placed on a consistent potty schedule and begin learning to eliminate outside.

Gentle introduction to the crate to create a sense of security, encourage restful sleep, and reduce anxiety.

Early exposure to a harness and leash, including walking calmly beside the handler and responding to light guidance.

Age-appropriate exposure to commands such as sit, come, leave it, and wait using positive reinforcement methods.

Daily handling and integration into household life, including exposure to people of all ages, sounds, and different surfaces, to build confidence and adaptability.
